Tourism Information

Information shows us the gap between reality and expectations.... The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) periodically monitors Tourism related information and publishes a monthly statistical bulletin and an Annual Statistical Report. The performance of Sri Lanka Tourism in terms of tourist arrivals, foreign exchange earnings, creation of employment opportunities and hotel : occupancy rates is assessed and reported, regularly. Travel Information Centres have been set up in Colombo , Katunayake (International Airport) and Kandy. The centers primary task is to assist tourist on all aspects of their stay in the island. Sri Lanka has many embassies that represent foreign countries. Tourists can easily access their relevant embassy through the SLTDA.
